Group Marriage

Why remain a couple when there are so many other seductive potential partners out there? If Chris and Sanders, at the beginning of the film, react jealously to the amorous adventures of the other at first, they soon rid themselves of this restriction and open up their relationship. May everyone's pleasure increase! The constellation soon expands to six people and the mutual marriage, which is also joined by the gay couple next door, maintains the dreams of freedom within a fixed framework, while also serving comic purposes and peaks. The fact that the arrangement is not free of contradictions becomes apparent when one of the women leaves the group, fearing that she will be overly involved in the childcare for Chris' as yet unborn child.
